This coveted studio who delivers discerning interiors is looking for freelancer to join the team immediately to work across multiple luxury hotel projects.
This studio is known for delivering tailored designs with exacting standards. The successful candidate will join a collaborative team of 30 but we be able to work autonomously in delivering accurate of technical and joinery packages.
They will have will have experience in all areas of the design process with an emphasis on the design development and construction documentation. This role would suit someone who is detailed orientated, who is able to answer technical design queries with ease and provide high-level solutions.
This contract is to 6-month, offering an attractive day rate and the scope to extend further.
- Be exposed to all aspects of a project and directly involved with drawing packages
- Create and develop designs for bespoke joinery, furniture and kitchen designs
- Responsible for putting together the drawing package and have an understanding of services & building regulations
- Required to liaise and supervise external and internal in-house contractors
- Manage junior team members
- Bachelor's degree in InteriorDesign or a related field
- Currently maintain the Right toWork (RTW) in the UK
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Proven experience working on luxury hospitality or commercial interiors
- Experience in designing bespoke joinery and construction detailing
- Produce accurate and ogranised documentation
- Have a great eye for details
- Demonstrate good project management skills
- Able to work to timelines
- Willingness to work 5-days in studio
