This award-winning studio with long standing client relationships is looking for senior FF&E designer with luxury residential experience to join their warm and friendly team in successfully delivering projects both locally and internationally.

This esteemed stud io is needing a middleweight designer to join the team immediately to assist with an influx of exciting projects from high-end private residential to boutique hospitality projects. The projects are at various stages so the successful candidate under the direction of the senior will work across concept, design development and coordination.

This is a full-time 5-day contract with the design being studio based. The contract will be offered on initial 3 to 6 months with opportunity to be made permanent for those interested.

This is a brilliant opportunity to for designer with positive can-do attitude to collaborate with a talented, diverse team of designers and add these desirable and often notable projects to your portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the department heads and senior designer across everything from concept designs to completed tender packs, construction drawings and on-site management
  • Oversee a junior designer and ensure workflow and design standards are being kept
  • Creation of mood boards and concept presentations
  • Sourcing of FF&E and liaising with suppliers, artisans and makers
  • Project coordination and management, checking with seniors on project status
  • Excellent communication within internal team, client and external parties
Skills and Experience
  • Qualification in interior design or interior architecture
  • Have the right to work in the UK without sponsorship
  • Previous high-end project experience in an award-winning or well-regarded design studio
  • Strong technical ability to develop drawing packages, including construction and joinery details
  • Good sense of style, eye and knowledge for FF&E
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Ability to follow direction and work both autonomously as well as part of the team
  • Ability and proactiveness to jump in at any stage of project
  • Passionate about design and achieving the common goal of delivering project to the highest of standards
