This role is tailored for a seasoned professional with extensive design and project management expertise. The ideal candidate will confidently lead the team, overseeing projects from inception to completion. Responsibilities encompass team leadership, project management, and fostering innovation. Collaborating closely with the Founder and Design Director, they will nurture the studio's vision and propel its growth.
- Collaborate with the Founder and Design Director to steer the creative direction in response to client briefs, ensuring alignment with project objectives and vision
- Inspire and guide team members, fostering a proactive approach to problem-solving and innovation
- Maintain project timelines meticulously, adapting to challenges and modifications to ensure timely project completion
- Uphold our design standards rigorously, overseeing adherence to established principles and processes to uphold quality assurance
- Effectively manage project resources and budgets, ensuring accurate documentation and financial transparency throughout
- Play a pivotal role in the recruitment process, selecting top talent and facilitating their smooth integration into the team
- Remain updated on all design stages, from conceptualisation to technical implementation and procurement, ensuring they align with project deadlines and specifications through consistent reviews and check-ins
- Oversee and foster client relationships and communications
- Support marketing and business development efforts
- Participate in external meetings and travel to project sites both locally and internationally.

- Degree in interior design or architecture
- Over 10 years of experience in interior design or architecture, with a portfolio demonstrating high-end projects
- Holds leadership experience, capable of managing teams consisting of Senior, Mid-Weight, and Junior Interior Designers
- Demonstrates a keen eye for detail for luxury interiors, consistently delivering work of the highest calibre
- Proficient in visualising ideas through sketching, with exceptional conceptual design and presentation capabilities
- Experienced in developing and producing design packages from initial concept to tender and construction detailing
- Proven track record in crafting impeccable and captivating concepts and design predestinations through mood, schematic boards and FF&E boards
- Practical understanding of executing design intent, coupled with an in-depth knowledge of construction methods
- Skilled in client interaction, proficient in leading design work within the studio while maintaining effective communication with clients and contractors
- Strong project coordination and timeline management abilities, including on-site and project management expertise spanning from concept to completion
- Commercially astute to support senior management in project decision-making
- Proficiency across various software platforms including AutoCAD/Revit, SketchUp, Adobe CS
