A renowned luxury residential developer is currently in search of an Associate Designer or Architect to join their team and spearhead their latest development venture in Belgravia.

This distinguished developer, known for consistently delivering developments to exacting standards, is in search of a highly experienced Interior Designer/Architect to join their team and contribute to their continued growth. The appointed design lead will oversee the entire concept-to-delivery process, aiming to standardise and simplify the design of 140 luxury residential units.

This presents a highly coveted opportunity to collaborate with one of London's leading developers in the prime residential sector. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in ultra-prime (£4k p/sf) residential projects within London's Zone 1, having successfully managed the early stages of concept to delivery for multi-unit developments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead interior design projects, ensuring they meet quality, time, and budget requirements
  • Develop and communicate project briefs in alignment with project needs to maintain a cohesive design vision
  • Oversee design integrity throughout all stages of the project
  • Collaborate with external consultants, architects, and stakeholders for successful project outcomes
  • Prepare design briefs for consultants and provide feedback as necessary
  • Coordinate with external consultants and architects for design and material approvals
  • Evaluate and improve space planning and interior designs
  • Contribute value-added ideas to space planning and design
  • Generate innovative and practical design solutions
  • Facilitate smooth communication and information flow within the design team
  • Assist in resolving project issues and decision-making
  • Ensure project delivery aligns with quality standards through collaboration with operations and external partners
  • Conduct quality checks during site stages to ensure delivery meets expectations

Skills and Experience
  • Currently hold the right to work in UK
  • Degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture
  • Vital experience in high-end Zone 1 London residential projects, preferably from the developer/client perspective
  • Track record in producing design packages from concept to construction, including NBS and specification documents
  • Knowledgeable about design deliverables, production information, and project timelines
  • Exceptional client interaction skills, along with experience in leading external consultants and architects
  • Proficient in project presentation and leadership, with a comprehensive understanding of appointments and contracts
  • Strong design and spatial planning prowess, emphasising attention to design details and spatial layout
  • Excellent grasp of design detailing, specifications, current legislation, and design standards
  • Proficiency in Revit/AutoCad and Adobe Suite, complemented by demonstrated freehand sketching and floor layout skills
