An experienced FF&E designer with strong background in hospitality interiors within the luxury sector is needed for acclaimed and prestigious design studio. This is an excellent chance to contribute to FF&E development right from the beginning, while also gaining exposure to leading suppliers and manufacturers, which will enrich your design sensibilities.

An acclaimed interior design studio with a notable portfolio of some of the most iconic commercial projects is actively seeking an experienced FF&E designer to join their hospitality team.

The ideal candidate should possess a portfolio showcasing their experience in luxury projects, demonstrating their involvement from conceptualisation to handover, with a strong focus on FF&E. This includes expertise in material sourcing, finishings, fixtures, fittings, and off-the-shelf items, as well as a talent for designing bespoke pieces. While experience in hospitality design is preferred, high-end sector experience in other areas will also be considered.

Impeccable presentation skills are a must, along with a deep understanding of FF&E. The ability to create coherent design schemes that align with the studio's elegant, warm, and contemporary aesthetic is crucial. Additionally, the successful candidate should be adept at managing multi-million-pound budgets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Confidently lead own design projects under the direction of an Associate or Director
  • Concept development, provide original and effective solutions to the creative brief
  • Produce high-quality design presentations for mood, FF&E boards and 2D renders
  • Produce technical drawings for spatial planning and elevations, knowledge of joinery details would be beneficial
  • Have a good understanding of high-end supplier for furniture, lighting, materials and finishes
  • Oversee procurement scheduling and project administration
  • Attend site meetings and liaise with contractors/sub-contractors
  • Communicate effectively with key team members on a regular basis
  • Deliver projects through to install and styling

Skills and Experience
  • Degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture or related field
  • Currently hold the right to work in the UK
  • Proven project experience within high-end residential and working with large budgets
  • Extensive knowledge of current trends, furniture and materials within the luxury market
  • A portfolio demonstrating an understanding of spatial awareness and high level of design and detail
  • Knowledge AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, In Design and Esti PC/MAC is advantageous
  • Advanced organisational skills, project coordination and time management
  • Positive and enthusiastic attitude
