A boutique interior design studio that specialises in luxury residential design is seeking an experienced middleweight to join their talented team of designers.

The studio has a holistic approach to design, where each designer see’s their projects from front to end. The studio’s portfolio ranges from private to commercial residential to large country estates.

The successful candidate will have proven experience contributing to the all-round design process within residential projects. The ability to develop concepts into 2D drawings and render for presentation. Have an understanding of FF&E for the luxury sector, pulling together cohesive schemes that reflect studios elegant, warm and contemporary aesthetic.

Key Responsibilities
  • Confidently lead own design projects under the direction of a Senior or Director
  • Concept development, provide original and effective solutions to the creative brief
  • Produce high-quality design presentations for mood, FF&E boards and 2D renders
  • Produce technical drawings for spatial planning, elevations and bespoke joinery for kitchens, bathrooms and built-ins
  • Have a good understanding of high-end supplier for furniture, lighting, materials and finishes
  • Oversee procurement scheduling and project administration
  • Attend site meetings and liaise with contractors/sub-contractors
  • Communicate effectively with key team members on a regular basis

Skills and Experience
  • Must hold a valid right to work visa for the UK
  • BA in Interior Design or Interior Architecture
  • Proven project experience within high-end residential and working with large budgets
  • Good knowledge of current trends, furniture and materials within the luxury market
  • A portfolio demonstrating knowledge of joinery for bathrooms, kitchens, millwork and bespoke pieces of furniture
  • Software: Vectorworks (preferred) or AutoCAD, SketchUp and Adobe CS.
  • Knowledge of Estimac is advantageous.
  • Organised, detailed oriented and efficient
  • Able to work to own imitative
  • Positive and enthusiastic attitude
