Join this dynamic team in a pivotal support role, spearheading the production of limited edition, unique, and collectible pieces crafted from fine, tactile materials. This role manages the production on a range of projects within this brand, driven by demand from the public, trade, and international design fairs.

Since its inception, this emerging brand has rapidly gained significant success and recognition with its luxury furniture, lighting, and objects. In response to increasing demand, they aim to strengthen their team by hiring a Middleweight FF&E Procurement/Production Manager.

While non-design oriented, this role is ideal for those with FF&E or product design backgrounds, familiar with materials, finishes, and manufacturing processes, who have shifted towards procurement. The Manager will supervise all aspects of production, logistics, installation, and reconciliation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Overseeing the production process, spanning from design conception to final delivery
  • Managing logistics on a global scale
  • Controlling cash flow to optimise financial resources
  • Negotiating costs with procurement and operations suppliers
  • Cultivating and nurturing supplier relationships to foster a reliable network
  • Ensuring consistent product quality through effective manufacturing oversight
  • Collaborating with manufacturers to address production bottlenecks
  • Managing all project administration
  • Managing customs procedures for international imports and exports.
  • Providing weekly reports to the department heads, highlighting areas of concern and team accomplishments
Skills and Experience
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Degree in Interior Design, Product Design or Supply Chain Management
  • Proficiency in sourcing, purchasing, delivery, and installation of high-end bespoke projects
  • Demonstrated ability to cultivate strong supplier relationships
  • Experience in raising RFPs & RFQs, generating purchase orders, and managing the order process, including invoicing
  • Strong commercial acumen with expertise in cost analysis and negotiation
  • Ability to interpret shop drawings
  • Knowledge of FF&E including materials, finishes, an understanding of the production process is advantageous
  • Genuine passion for interior design
  • Exceptional organisational and communication skills
  • High level of financial accuracy and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Excel
