This practice is known for their extraordinary projects across sectors, and because they work across sectors, they want their designers to have the opportunity to work across sectors too. The successful designer will work across, hotels, workplaces and residential developments. The practice would like this designer to have design interests outside of interiors – graphic design, fine art, set design etc. –because they feel it enriches the culture and the work they produce.
- Meeting new clients and representing the practice and its values
- Developing original and creative design concepts and schemes
- An ability to move between different sector types and scales
- Annotating and reviewing technical design drawings
- Delivering innovative concepts
- Working alongside a team of architects and external contractors and consultants
- Managing and mentoring junior team members
- Sourcing art and antiques both in and out of the studio
- Leading regular site supervisions
- Degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture
- Hold the right to work in the UK
- Proficient in Revit and/or Vectorworks
- Strong communication skills
- Impressive connections with suppliers and manufacturers
- Experience of managing teams of at least four people
- Experience collating detailed drawing packages
- Evidence of working across projects from concept through to delivery
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Experience of working on listed building is desirable
