This award-winning studio with long standing client relationships is looking for senior FF&E designer with luxury residential experience to join their warm and friendly team in successfully delivering projects both locally and internationally.
This design studio has consistent pipeline of exciting projects from both new to repeat clientele in the luxury market. The studio primarily works within high-end residential but upon client request has expanded into yachts, aviation and boutique commercial design.
The successful candidate will have an impressive understanding of materials, finishes and have cemented relationships in the luxury markets with suppliers, manufactures and trades. They will be up to date with trends and always have the curiosity on how to elevate a space.
Along with this they will have the know how to successfully manage a project and the workflow through to delivery. They will be proactive in their approach, highly organised and conscientious when overseeing timelines, budgets and design details.
This role would suit a designer who thrives in collaborative, enjoys developing junior members of the team and is enthusiastic about delivering projects to the highest of standard.
- Partake in all stages of the design process from concept to completion
- Lead the creative direction of FF&E design
- Oversee and develop a small team of designers
- Manage project documentation relating to FF&E; design intent packages, specifications and schedules
- Create costings and budgets for FF&E and lead the procurement process
- Manage project programmes and workflow ensuring all documentation are completed correctly and to studio’s standards
- Lead site visits with clients, trades, suppliers and subcontractors
- Qualification in interior designor interior architecture
- Currently hold the right to workin the UK
- Previous experience working in adesign studio at the senior level on high-end residential projects
- Admirable leadership skills andthe ability to inspire and motivate junior team members
- Immense knowledge of FF&E suppliers, productsand finishes
- Good understanding of the FF&E procurement process
- Previous on-site experience and knowledge of liaising with architects, contractors and suppliers
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills, able hold their own with clients, understanding and delivering their requirements
- Fluent in AutoCAD, Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Estimac
- Works well under pressure with an aptitude for multi-tasking and efficiency
