A globally respected design firm is currently in search of two Senior Interior Architects to join from concept development stage on high-end, luxury hotel projects across Europe.
This design firm celebrated for its luxurious and timeless approach to interior design, seamlessly merging classic elegance with modern elements to craft captivating spaces. It provides a dynamic work environment with no egos, offering a space where ideas are valued and encouraged.
This position offers significant responsibility in design and coordination, perfect for those involved in all development stages from concept to stage 4. The role requires both independent work and effective delegation with the wider team, encompassing hands-on creative tasks such as developing design schemes, producing detailed design packages. Essential qualities include an interest in interior architecture and bespoke joinery, along with a thorough understanding of construction methods and building regulations for commercial spaces.
- Develop creative project vision in collaboration with the Head of Design
- Lead design research for projects, encompassing general project exploration and focused concept development tasks
- Ensure adherence to the studio's stylistic requirements throughout all project stages
- Produce accurate documentation for all project phases, overseeing quality control
- Supervise juniors, managing their workload and providing mentorship
- Maintain high standards in design documentation, including presentations, sketches, drawings, and schedules
- Ensure CAD standards and design documentation quality are upheld, supporting team skill development
- Participate in key meetings and presentations alongside the Head of Design and Directors
- Right to work in the UK
- Degree in Interior Architecture, Interior Design, or Architecture
- Track record in high-end hotel, hospitality, or large-scale commercial projects
- Strong understanding and experience in the luxury sector
- Awareness of current style trends and industry developments in hotel/hospitality
- Understanding of construction methods and regulations
- Proficiency in interior architecture, joinery, and construction detailing
- Strong 3D spatial awareness skills
- Advanced AutoCAD proficiency
- Proficiency in SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and freehand sketching
- Good organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines while maintaining studio standards
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
