This widely recognised restaurant group, currently undergoing global expansion, is looking to grow its in-house team with the addition of an experienced Senior Designer. This role is ideal for a designer who has a strong background in Interior Architecture and FF&E, and is confident in delivering projects at an international scale.
Reporting directly to the Directors and Lead Designers, the Senior Designer will play a pivotal role in providing design direction and ensuring the successful delivery of projects across the group’s expanding global portfolio.

The ideal candidate will be confident, dependable, and skilled at managing relationships with clients, consultants, and suppliers. They should be comfortable taking responsibility and ensuring seamless project delivery, while also mentoring junior team members. A proactive mindset, openness to feedback, and strong leadership abilities are essential.
- Collaborate with Lead Designers to create and develop presentations showcasing innovative concepts during the early stages of projects.
- Inspire and motivate the design team by introducing fresh, creative ideas to enhance project development and studio thinking.
- Design and craft custom furniture, light fixtures, and bespoke upholstery as needed.
- Prepare detailed delivery drawings and specifications in line with design intent packages.
- Oversee and manage project documentation, ensuring updates and revisions are consistently accurate.
- Help establish internal design standards and guidelines, ensuring team adherence.
- Participate in regular internal and external design meetings, supporting both conceptual and technical aspects of the design process.
- Track and evaluate the project team’s performance, providing constructive feedback to Senior Management and addressing both successes and areas for improvement.
- Travel internationally to site.
- Must have the legal right to work in the UK.
- A qualification in Interior Design or Interior Architecture, or an equivalent degree.
- Extensive experience within the hospitality industry, ideally focused on restaurant and bar design.
- Advanced skills in AutoCAD, SketchUp and Adobe CS.
- Strong technical expertise to produce detailed technical packages.
- A passion for FF&E, with thorough knowledge of suppliers, products, and bespoke materials, finishes.
- Proven experience managing projects across all phases, from initial concept through to final completion.
- Ability to manage project timelines and deadlines, overseeing both personal tasks and those of junior team members.
- Solid understanding of project financials, including cost management and budgeting.
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, with a talent for clear and effective presentations.
