The studio's approach has been honed after years in the industry, a unique distillation of the duo's mixed Italian and Canadian-Chinese-British heritage, and their shared expertise designing hotel and restaurants for iconic global brands. This private client engaged DUELLE to explore the potential of their land for a boutique hotel property in Mallorca.
Currently in concept phase, we developed a contemporary design vision that would attract design-conscious travelers while maintaining an intimate atmosphere focused on relaxation and privacy. The design connects with nature while introducing surprising artistic moments throughout the space.

We re-imagined this humble villa through local materials that connect interior with landscape, carefully selected vintage Italian furniture, and bespoke lighting created with regional artisans. The result is a thoughtful blend of Italian and North American sensibilities — where warm, natural materials meet contemporary statement pieces.
