Tara Bernerd & Partners is an internationally renowned interior architectural practice based in London, working across hospitality, residential and commercial residential projects around the world. Led by Tara Bernerd, the studio is known for creating highly individual interiors that combine a strong architectural approach with a deep understanding of place, materiality and the way people live.
Housed within two landmark buildings in the heart of Munich's historic old town, Rosewood Munich presented Tara Bernerd & Partners with the opportunity to sensitively reimagine an extraordinary collection of historic spaces for a new generation.
Working alongside Hilmer Sattler Architekten Ahlers, the studio developed the interiors for the guestrooms, suites and five signature Houses, together with the lobby lounge, Palaishof, Asaya Spa and event spaces. Original architectural features, including vaulted ceilings, frescoes and the building's sweeping staircase, sit alongside contemporary furniture, rich materiality and bespoke detailing, creating adialogue between the buildings' history and a more contemporary approach to hospitality.
