As a Midweight Designer, you’ll play a key role within a respected London studio, shaping luxury interiors through thoughtful design and advanced 3D modelling.
This is an exciting opportunity for a Middleweight Interior Designer to join a leading London-based design studio working on beautifully considered residential projects in the UK and internationally. The role offers the chance to take real ownership of parts of a project, supporting senior designers and project leads across all stages, from concept to completion. You’ll play an integral part in shaping ideas, producing detailed drawings, developing visual presentations, and helping deliver work of an exceptional standard. You’ll be involved in spatial planning, sourcing materials and finishes, preparing design documentation, and coordinating with consultants, suppliers and contractors.
The studio is looking for someone with strong 3D skills, particularly in Rhino and Enscape, and a confident aesthetic sensibility to bring concepts to life.
The position is open to both permanent and freelance designers who can collaborate closely with a talented, supportive team and maintain a positive, professional attitude throughout the design process.
The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience working within a high-end residential or boutique hospitality environment. You’ll be comfortable contributing ideas in a collaborative studio and confident taking responsibility for design development and documentation. A strong eye for composition, materials and proportion is key, along with the ability to translate concepts into well-resolved drawings and models.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe CS and SketchUp is essential, with Enscape or other visualisation software considered a major advantage. You’ll have a good technical understanding of joinery and interior detailing, an appreciation of quality craftsmanship, and familiarity with UK building standards. Strong communication and organisational skills are important, as is the ability to manage your own workload across multiple projects.
This London-based studio is recognised for its beautifully crafted interiors and thoughtful architectural detailing.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a respected practice where you can grow, contribute to ambitious projects and be part of an inspiring design culture. The studio offers a hybrid working structure and an above-industry-standard benefits package designed to support long-term career development and work-life balance.
