This furniture dealer is looking for an ambitious and energetic Furniture Consultant to join a growing and dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for specifying furniture solutions that meet client briefs, focusing on budget, aesthetic preferences, and project timelines. You will work closely with clients, internal teams, and external stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and with the highest levels of customer satisfaction. Additionally, the role involves promoting sustainability initiatives such as upcycling and net-zero carbon solutions. The consultant will also be expected to present product offerings to architects and designers, as well as represent the brand at industry events and networking opportunities.
The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in furniture specification, with a proven ability to manage and deliver projects within budget and on time. A solid understanding of profit margins and job costing is essential for this role, as is the ability to build and maintain client relationships, including responding to RFPs. The candidate should be highly knowledgeable about furniture products, their lifespan, and suitability for various commercial environments. A strong understanding of sustainability, including upcycling and remanufacturing, is critical, as these are key areas of focus. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to confidently present to architects and designers, as well as engage in networking events. Leadership qualities are essential, as you will also be responsible for guiding and motivating the team to achieve high performance and business goals.
