Up and coming developer with an in-house design offering and portfolio of exquisite residences is looking for a director of architecture and development.
Offering the opportunity to move client-side as head of architecture and development, you will play a multifaceted role in the successful running and strategic growth of this emerging design and development studio. You will be the main interface with client, authorities, consultants and contractors, oversee teams on design and execution of projects and lead on new acquisitions, investor opportunities and project and business management. The role also presents an opportunity to manage an internal team, dealing with HR related matters, mentoring staff, fostering development and driving their small but talented team to success.
The successful candidate will be a qualified senior architect with significant project management experience including costing, reports and risk management. You will have carved your career working on high quality London residential schemes, ideally multi-unit developments and bespoke one off homes and have an excellent grasp of processes and what it takes to deliver for a client and execute exquisite work that is on time and budget. You will have strong people management experience with the ability to take a real leadership role in the business and a wholehearted ambition to drive things forward.
This multidisciplinary studio has a strong foundation in acquiring and selling prime properties within the London market. Over time, they have built a reputation for designing and delivering timeless, high budget residential projects, ranging from private homes to larger residential developments. The studio offers excellent flexibility, including the option to work three days from home, a competitive package with increasing holiday allowance based on length of service, and an annual bonus structure. This is an opportunity to join at a poignant time and grow a studio where there is no glass ceiling and your efforts and contribution to the business will be rewarded.
