New Business Manager (Maternity Cover) – Lead strategic growth and bid development across Europe & the Americas at this groundbreaking studio.
The role is a New Business Manager position, offered as a one-year maternity cover based at our clients studio in Central London. Reporting to the Commercial Director, the role focuses on driving new business strategy and securing project opportunities primarily across Europe and the Americas. Responsibilities include identifying and evaluating new business prospects, leading client-facing interactions, preparing bids and submissions, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure cohesive commercial alignment. The role plays a key part in expanding the studio's project portfolio through strategic, informed outreach and client engagement.
The ideal candidate will have at least three years of relevant experience in business development, with a successful track record in pursuing and securing new opportunities and bids. A strong interest in architecture and design is essential, along with experience in producing compelling written and graphic content for submissions. The role requires excellent organisational and communication skills, fluency in English, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite. Personal attributes should include confidence, initiative, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a high-paced, collaborative environment.
