Are you a high end residential architect with strong site experience looking for something a bit different?
This is a long term role to join an architecture developer contractor as part of their growing team, however you will initially be tasked with overseeing a unique and super high budget residential project that is currently on site and will run for the next year. The scheme is the conversion of 3 grade II listed town houses in W2, with new build elements and extensions and an entire strip out of the existing to redefine the space and use into 9 exceptionally elegant but simple and cohesive residential apartments. Supported by an associate director you will be based in their NW office but visiting site regularly with contractor and client, reporting on progress, monitoring design quality and compliance and producing construction drawings, technical information and specifications.
The successful candidate will be part III qualified with experience working on exquisite residential projects in London on traditional contracts. You will have strong technical delivery experience having seen multiple projects on site and be confident liaising with contractors and coordinating information. Experience with both new build and refurbishment of historic fabrics is preferred due to the complex nature of the project as well as experience with high end finishes. Microstation is advantageous but not essential as long as there is a will to learn.
There is no better time to set foot into this emerging name who already have an impressive portfolio of built London projects. Although established 12 years ago, this architecture and development studio with a contractor arm take on their own projects and specialise across acquisition, design, planning, project management, sales and asset management. Their aesthetic is timeless luxury and they realise beautifully crafted and functional spaces, through meticulous design and detailing. With CPDs, regular socials and a culture that rewards drive and ambition, they value designers who are bright and pragmatic who can take their own initiative. On offer is the opportunity to build a once if a life time residential project at a company that sits at the intersection of architecture and development.
