This position is for a Junior to Midweight Technical Designer on a freelance basis, supporting the delivery of Stage 3 and 4 interior and joinery packages for luxury residential projects in London. The position calls for a confident designer who can contribute effectively to the wider team, manage deadlines, and deliver work of the highest standard within a fast-paced environment.
The contract is available for an immediate start and runs until the end of the year, with potential to extend. This a full-time (40 hr week) contract, part-time availabilty will not be considered.
The successful candidate will have 2–3 years of experience within a high-end design studio, ideally working on bespoke residential projects. They will demonstrate strong technical knowledge of joinery, materials, and detailing, with the ability to produce accurate and comprehensive drawing packages. Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential, alongside excellent communication and organisational skills.
This boutique interior design and development studio specialises in super-prime residential projects across London’s most desirable postcodes. With a close-knit team of 10, the practice has a strong pipeline of upcoming work and is recognised for delivering timeless, detail-driven interiors that balance architectural precision with understated luxury. Operating on a hybrid model, the team spends 2 days together in the studio and 3 days working remotely, creating a collaborative yet flexible environment.
