With several new projects under way, this is a coveted opportunity to help shape the studio’s interior design division while working on beautifully crafted private homes from concept to completion
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced interior designer to take ownership of a growing team and play a pivotal role in establishing a dedicated interior design division within an emerging architecture practice.
This position is to lead the design for two significant private residential projects, managing the process from concept to completion and working closely with the founding directors to deliver beautifully crafted homes. With full responsibility for FF&E, material selection, and design development, you’ll set the vision and ensure every detail is executed to the highest standard. The role will also involve coordinating with consultants, managing suppliers, and acting as a key client-facing representative throughout each stage of the project.
The ideal candidate will be a confident designer with 10 years of experience delivering high-end private residential projects in the UK. You will have a considered approach to design, a strong understanding of spatial planning, and solid knowledge of materials, finishes, and FF&E.
You will be comfortable leading projects from concept through to completion, managing client relationships and working closely with consultants, contractors, and suppliers. The ability to produce CAD documentation for Stage 2/3 packages and detailed joinery drawings would be a strong advantage.
A well-presented portfolio showcasing beautifully designed interiors, along with strong organisational and communication skills, is essential. Experience working on bespoke, luxury residential schemes and with discerning clients will be highly advantageous.
This is an exciting time to join a studio that is steadily making its mark with a portfolio of thoughtfully designed, high-end residential projects. Based in a beautifully converted workspace, the practice has built a strong reputation for creating homes where architecture and interiors are seamlessly connected.
The team works closely together in a supportive, collaborative environment. Every project is approached with care and attention to detail, resulting in interiors that feel timeless and personal to each client.
It is important to note that, while this studio values work-life balance, this is a full-time, studio-based role.
To be considered, please submit your CV and portfolio. Applicants must have valid Right to Work (RTW) in the UK, as those without will not be eligible. Due to the high volume of applications, we will only be able to respond to those shortlisted for the position. We thank you for your time and interest.
