Showcase your passion and meticulous attention to detail through the delivery of technical packages for construction and manufacture, covering upholstery, lighting, and joinery on some of the industry’s most sought after projects.

about the position

This position is for a Middleweight Technical Furniture Designer to join the in-house furniture team of a leading interior design studio recognised within the Top 100 UK Interior Design Studios. This role focuses on the detailed design and technical delivery of highly bespoke furniture pieces within the luxury residential and hospitality projects.

Working closely with the wider design and FF&E teams, you will be responsible for producing full technical drawing sets, coordinating with suppliers and workshops, and ensuring all designs are accurately translated from concept through to manufacture. Projects are varied and fast paced, requiring exceptional attention to detail and a strong understanding of materials, finishes, and production methods.

about the candidate

You will be confident producing full drawing sets in AutoCAD, with a strong grasp of both form and function. Experience beyond kitchens and bathrooms, including furniture and lighting, would be highly beneficial.

You will have the ability to work to deadlines, adapt to evolving design briefs, and translate creative concepts into functional, buildable solutions with accuracy. Strong communication skills, a collaborative approach, and a proactive mindset are key.

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD (essential)
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and finishes
