This position is for a Senior Interior Designer to join a leading studio within the hospitality sector, taking the lead on projects both locally and internationally.
The role requires an experienced designer who can confidently lead projects from concept through to completion, overseeing design delivery, client presentations, and on-site coordination. The successful candidate will take ownership of projects, manage a small design team, and ensure the studio’s creative vision is upheld throughout every stage.
Responsibilities include developing concept designs, presenting to clients, producing detailed drawing packages in AutoCAD, and coordinating with consultants, suppliers, and contractors. The position also involves attending site meetings, workshops, and mock-up reviews, providing both creative and technical input as needed.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6 years of experience working across all project stages, demonstrating both creative and technical expertise. They will be confident leading multiple projects, managing teams, and maintaining strong client relationships.
Excellent communication and presentation skills are essential, along with the ability to express design ideas clearly through sketches, drawings, and digital presentations. Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe CS is required, with strong knowledge of joinery, detailing, and UK building regulations.
A proactive, organised approach is key, with the ability to guide and inspire others. Experience developing FF&E schemes, directing material palettes, and delivering hospitality projects will be highly valued.
