about the position

This is a role sit at the intersection of digital design, data and technology. You will be supporting project teams by developing and adapting Grasshopper workflows and creating computational models to support urban and architectural design ideation and development. You’ll also play a key role across the wider practice, building new tools, streamlining internal processes, training peers and promoting best practice in the use of technologies such as Rhino and Grasshopper.

about the candidate

The successful candidate will have a background in the built environment, a degree in architecture, urban design or computation and have experience supporting large international teams. You will have a keen design flair and enjoy solving complex problems with the ability to think strategically about architecture on an urban scale. You’ll also be comfortable translating design ideas into functional computational workflows and have strong communication and interpersonal skills to explain processes in a way that can be clearly understood by both technical and non technical staff. This firm are looking for someone with a real passion and curiosity for performance driven design and technology and the desire to be at the forefront at this within their practice. Expert skills in Rhino and Grasshopper are essential with others including Rhino.Inside.Revit and scripting in JavaScript or C# highly beneficial.
