the details

This boutique interior design and development studio has a busy pipeline of projects across some of London’s most desirable postcodes. They deliver end-to-end design services, with a strong emphasis on interior architectural detailing and bespoke joinery.

about the position

This position is for a Designer with strong technical knowledge and proven ability in producing detailed interior packages. It may also suit an architect with a strong interiors bias.

This is an initial 3-month freelance contract starting in January 2027, supporting the delivery of RIBA Stage 3 and 4 interior and joinery packages for luxury residential projects in London.

The role requires a confident designer who can contribute effectively within a wider team, manage deadlines independently and consistently deliver work to a high standard in a fast-paced environment.

This is a full-time contract based on a 40-hour working week. Part-time availability will not be considered.

about the candidate

The ideal candidate will be technically confident and detail focused, with experience producing high quality interior and joinery drawing packages within a design-led studio environment. A strong understanding of materials, bespoke joinery and interior architectural detailing is essential, along with advanced AutoCAD capability and the ability to work accurately and efficiently.

They will be comfortable managing their own workload, prioritising deadlines and contributing constructively within a collaborative team. Clear communication skills and a proactive approach to problem solving are important, as is the ability to maintain high standards in a fast-paced setting.

Access to a personal workstation and relevant software licences would be advantageous, enabling a smooth and efficient onboarding to the project team.
