about the position

This is a 12-month maternity cover Studio Manager role based in Bloomsbury, responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the studio, supporting project and business operations, and helping to elevate the profile of the practice. It is a multifaceted position suited to someone who thrives in a creative environment and can manage a wide range of responsibilities including studio operations, marketing and communications, business development, HR coordination and financial administration. The role involves overseeing studio organisation, managing diaries and events, supporting project teams, coordinating marketing content, maintaining the company website and social channels, assisting with new business opportunities, managing recruitment processes and ensuring compliance across HR and Health & Safety.

about the candidate

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in an architectural practice as a Studio Manager, PA or in a similar role, with strong organisational abilities, excellent written and verbal communication skills and exceptional attention to detail. They will be confident working independently, proactive in problem-solving and personable in supporting a creative team. Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, Adobe Creative Suite and basic Xero administration is essential, while experience in marketing, communications and graphic design is desirable. The candidate should be comfortable managing HR processes, coordinating events, preparing marketing materials, supporting financial tasks and contributing positively to a collaborative studio culture.
