A leading hospitality design studio is seeking a Freelance FF&E Designer for an initial 3-month contract starting January 2027. The role supports refurbishment-led public area projects and is strongly focused on FF&E delivery.
The designer will be responsible for developing look and feel imagery, FF&E mood boards and material palettes, and delivering public area FF&E packages independently.
The studio works on a hybrid basis, with one day per week in the studio and four days remote. Candidates will need access to their own workstation and relevant software licences to support remote working.
The successful designer will bring proven FF&E experience, with the confidence to take ownership of public area packages within hospitality or comparable commercial environments. They will have a strong eye for materials and finishes, an established understanding of supplier networks, and the ability to work efficiently on refurbishment-led projects.
Strong AutoCAD capability is required, supported by experience using SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite for design development and presentation. The role also calls for the ability to produce clear joinery drawings of moderate complexity.
