This a well rounded role for an architect looking to step up and lead projects at an emerging young design practice who are set to be the ones to watch. Supported by associate and practice directors you will be responsible for the day to day running of a range of small to medium projects, playing a hands-on role in client liaison, consultant and contractor coordination and production of drawn information from concept to site and completion. Joining at a poignant time you will also be able to shape the practice direction, as well as your own career, helping them to raise the practice profile and share in their continued success.
The successful candidate will be a part III qualified architect with 2-5 years of practical experience at a reputable design practice. You will have a keen design eye with a focus on materiality, detail and craft and thrive in a collaborative studio where everyone is encouraged to bring ideas and have a voice. The firm focus on housing projects of varying complexity and scale and so experience working on high quality residential projects, for private, developer and / or public bodies is essential, with a focus on retrofit of existing/listed buildings and Passivhaus highly desirable. Above all they are looking for someone who sees challenges as opportunities with a keen desire to commit long term to a small growing practice. Revit is essential.
