about the position

This is a role for an ArchiCAD BIM Manager to join an exciting design and development studio. You will be responsible for maintaining ArchiCAD models, libraries and templates and ensuring workflows, standards, project delivery and coordination are aligned with best industry practices. You will be spearheading the practice BIM strategy, writing BIM execution plans, interpreting EIRs, as well representing the business externally, attending networking events and seminars, staying up to date with new technologies and processes.

about the candidate

The successful candidate will have a background in the built environment, ideally in architecture, and demonstrate advanced proficiency in ArchiCAD and BIM delivery. You will have strong practical experience in model setup, template development, and object/library creation, alongside the ability to coordinate multiple project models simultaneously. A thorough understanding of BIM processes and standards is essential, including experience preparing and implementing BEPs, interpreting EIRs, and working within ISO 19650 frameworks. You will be confident operating within common data environments (CDEs) and committed to promoting best practice across teams. Experience in a strategic leadership role is essential, with a proven track record of contributing to BIM protocols at practice level and reporting to board directors. Expert knowledge of ArchiCAD, BIMcloud essential with Dalux ideal.
