An Interior Designer for an architecture and interiors studio known for creating thoughtful, liveable spaces that balance practicality with strong design sensibility.
A Middleweight Interior Designer to contribute across both interior design and FF&E, supporting projects from early concept development through to completion. Working closely with the wider team, you will be involved in shaping design briefs, developing presentation material and progressing design information into detailed drawing and specification packages. The role offers broad exposure across all stages, including coordination with clients, consultants and suppliers, as well as involvement during construction and installation to ensure a well-executed final outcome.
A motivated and adaptable designer with a strong foundation in both interior design and FF&E, confident working across all stages of a project and contributing to both creative and technical delivery.
- 2+ years’ experience within interior design, ideally across residential and/or hospitality projects
- Experience working across projects from concept through to completion
- Confident liaising with clients and contributing in both internal and external settings
- Strong design sensibility, with a good understanding of spatial planning, materials and overall design principles
- Experience with FF&E sourcing, specification and supplier coordination
- Good technical ability, including drawing packages, CAD documentation and schedules
- Comfortable organising design information and supporting project delivery
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite
- Working knowledge of Vectorworks, SketchUp, Rhino or similar 3D software is beneficial
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a collaborative approach
- Well organised, with the ability to manage time, prioritise and meet deadlines
- Open to supporting and mentoring junior team members where needed
