Associate Architect
About the position
This is a role to step in at Associate level for a 6 months maternity cover at one of London’s most notable design names. In this middle management role, you will be overseeing design teams, liaising with external consultants and contractors on a major large scale housing project at RIBA stages 3-5. Reporting to the studio lead, you will be managing resource and ensuring projects are delivered on time and budget whilst inspiring success in your teams and mentoring juniors.
About the candidate
· Qualified architect with experience operating at associate level or in an equivalent leadership role
· A background defined by exceptionally well designed and detailed multi-unit housing projects, e.g co-living , aged care or PBSA
· High rise and BSA’s highly desirable
· Strong design sensibilities demonstrated through a well curated portfolio of your own work
· Significant experience leading projects at RIBA stages 3-5, coordinating with consultants and contractors to ensure build-ability and compliance
· Outstanding communication skills and the ability to liaise across disciplines and inspire success in teams
· Revit essential
· Available on short notice for a period of 6 months
