Practice Manager
About the position
Our client is looking for an experienced Practice Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of its growing London architecture studio. Working closely with the Directors and Management Team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the practice across studio operations, finance, HR, IT systems, compliance and business support. This is a key operational role for someone who enjoys improving processes, managing multiple priorities and supporting a collaborative, creative team. The position is based in Central London, with a hybrid working policy, and offering a good benefits.
About the candidate
- Previous experience as a Practice Manager, Operations Manager, Studio Manager, Office Manager or similar.
- Strong organisational, administrative and financial management skills.
- Experience supporting HR administration, recruitment and employee processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build positive working relationships.
- Highly organised, proactive, detail-oriented and solutions-focused.
- Confident managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional, approachable and trusted to handle confidential information.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and general business systems.
- Ideally experienced within an architecture practice, design consultancy or other professional services environment.
- Desirable experience with CMAP (or similar practice management software), CRM systems and Adobe InDesign.
- Experience supporting business development, marketing or bid submissions is beneficial.
- An understanding of architectural practice operations and RIBA work stages is advantageous.
- Passionate about supporting teams, improving operational processes and contributing to a positive studio culture.
