Middleweight Interior Designer
About the position
We are looking for an exceptional Middleweight Interior Designer to join a growing practice delivering high-end residential and luxury hospitality projects in the UK and internationally.
The role combines creative design, interior architecture and technical delivery, working closely with design teams, clients, consultants, contractors and suppliers.
Responsibilities include developing concepts; producing drawings, mood boards and material boards; developing 3D designs; sourcing bespoke materials and finishes; and designing joinery, lighting and carpets.
You will also support FF&E procurement, from budgets and tendering through to delivery and final dressing, alongside tender and detailed design, budget management and contractor liaison.
About the candidate
- 2–4 years’ job-running experience within the UK
- Experience working across high-end residential, commercial and/or hospitality projects
- Experience across both refurbishment and new-build projects
- Strong understanding of bespoke detailing, high-end finishes and quality standards
- Strong creative and technical design capabilities with excellent attention to detail
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite
- Good knowledge of UK Building Regulations, construction technology, planning policies and procurement methods
- Good understanding of FF&E, including bespoke and off-the-shelf pieces, procurement, logistics and quality control
- Excellent spoken and written English
- Confident in a client-facing role, with strong communication skills
- Strong organisational and administrative skills
- Proactive and able to take initiative and drive projects forward
- Ability to balance creative thinking with technical and project requirements

This Central London-based, multidisciplinary design practice specialises in high-end residential and luxury hospitality projects across the UK and internationally. The studio provides an end-to-end service spanning architecture, interior design and project management, advising clients from pre-acquisition through to final delivery.
With an emphasis on couture design, technical knowledge and exceptional client service, the practice offers the opportunity to work across a varied portfolio of projects in the UK and abroad.
