Midweight Interior Architect
About the position
We are looking for a motivated, proactive and highly organised Midweight Interior Architectural Designer to join an international high-end residential interior design studio.
Working under the guidance of senior members of the design team, you will support projects from concept and design development through detailed documentation, construction and completion. The role offers the opportunity to work on exceptional private residences and luxury projects worldwide, with a strong focus on bespoke design, craftsmanship, materials and technical execution.
You will play a key role in producing highly detailed drawing packages, developing architectural and bespoke joinery details, coordinating design information and supporting the successful delivery of projects through all stages.
About the candidate
- Minimum 2 years’ experience within an architecture or interior design practice
- Experience in high-end residential and/or luxury hospitality projects
- Strong technical background with excellent 2D AutoCAD skills
- Strong experience producing detailed joinery packages
- Previous on-site experience
- Excellent technical detailing and problem-solving skills
- Strong eye for design, proportion, materials and detail
- Highly organised, with excellent time-management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Ability to work independently while taking direction from senior team members
- Comfortable working collaboratively as part of a design team
- Professional, proactive and reliable approach
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Willingness to learn, develop and progress within the studio
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft Office and Excel
- Knowledge of AI tools, SketchUp and hand sketching would be beneficial
