Sales Manager sought to grow UK trade sales in luxury rugs and textiles, building designer relationships and driving showroom and project revenue.
Our client is seeking a Sales Manager specialising in rugs and textiles, based at a Kings Road showroom in London. The position focuses on selling bespoke, made-to-order, and stock rugs while managing relationships with interior designers, architects, and hospitality firms across the UK. The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving revenue growth, developing new business opportunities, preparing quotations and proposals, managing CRM systems, contributing to sales strategies, and representing the studio at trade shows and industry events. The role also involves regular reporting and some UK and European travel.
The ideal candidate will bring at least three years of proven sales experience in a relationship-driven role within interiors or design. They will have a strong network and credibility in the UK trade community, along with a successful record of converting leads into long-term clients and driving revenue growth. Excellent communication and negotiation skills are essential, together with a data-driven approach to sales, familiarity with textiles or design, and an awareness of current interior trends. The role calls for a proactive self-starter who can manage multiple priorities effectively, with flexibility to work from the showroom twice a week and attend external client meetings and travel when required.
