Opportunity for an accomplished associate or associate director to lead the vision and delivery of large-scale residential masterplans, unlocking strategic land opportunities and shaping sustainable communities across the UK.
This is a role for associate director of master planning to lead the strategic vision and delivery of large scale residential development projects. Working at the forefront of urban design, strategic land and placemaking you will shape masterplans that unlock land value, guide planning strategy and create sustainable, joyful and commercially viable communities. The role combines design leadership with client advisory expertise, overseeing multidisciplinary teams, managing key stakeholder relationships and driving projects from early land appraisal through to planning consent. This role is offering promotion to Director level within 6 months, and you will have the opportunity to contribute to business management, strategic growth including new business and winning work.
The successful candidate will bring significant experience from a respected architecture, urban design or planning practice, with a strong focus on large-scale, UK residential led master planning and strategic land projects. You will demonstrate a proven track record in land promotion, site allocations and outline planning applications, underpinned by a thorough understanding of UK planning policy and development viability. A confident leader with excellent communication skills, you will be experienced in coordinating multidisciplinary consultant teams, managing client relationships and engaging effectively with a broad range of stakeholders. Creative, commercially astute and strategic you will build strong industry networks and play an active role in securing new business opportunities.
