BIM & Digital Design Coordinator
About the position
This is a 6 month contract role for a Digital Design Technologist / Coordinator to join an established architecture practice to assist on two live commercial office projects at early and developed design stages, supporting architectural teams with advanced digital modelling and computational design workflows. Working under the BIM manager and alongside project architects, you will act as a technical resource, improving how designers model, coordinate, and work through design iterations for massing and facades. You will be setting up projects in BIM, streamlining efficiencies, bringing Sketchup into Rhino, and maintaining consistent BIM standards across projects.
About the candidate
- Expert Revit with experience setting up models, sheets, views and workflows
- Proficiency in Dynamo for automation and workflow development
- Working knowledge of Rhino and Grasshopper for parametric and computational design tasks
- Experience with Rhino.Inside.Revit to connect modelling workflows across platforms
- Understanding of BIM standards and file management
- Ability to support multiple teams, manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment and explain technical solutions to others
- Scripting knowledge in Python or C# is advantegous
