Housing Design & Masterplanning Architect
About the position
This is a role to join a well established team to design a range of high quality UK housing led projects from city scale, to urban regeneration and strategic land. You will be exploring concepts, massing and feasibility on a master-planning scale, coordinating with external authorities and bodies as well as supporting the development of practice wide design guidance and sustainable building codes for clients and stakeholders. This firm are busy and do not pigeonhole, so there will be opportunities to work on a range of projects and stages.
About the candidate
· Part III qualified architect
· Standout academic and career record with experience working at a named design firm
· Experience working on large UK residential projects from strategic master-planning to layouts and individual plots
· Strong design sensibilities and passion for sustainable principals
· Excellent communication skills including verbal, written and graphical
· A curious, pragmatic and creative mind who can challenge ideas and themes with confidence
· Eagerness to contribute to the practice on a personal level as well as professional
· Revit, InDesign and Sketchup
