Interior Designer
About the position
A London design practice is seeking an Interior Designer to work on high-end private residences and multi-residential developments in the UK and internationally, alongside workplace and hospitality projects. You will be involved from initial concepts through to completion on site.
You will develop layouts, select materials and finishes, produce drawings and present your ideas to clients. The role suits an all-rounder who enjoys both the creative and practical sides of interior design and is ready to take greater responsibility for running projects.
Working alongside experienced designers, you will coordinate with the wider project team, manage deadlines and support junior colleagues. There is scope to progress within the team as your experience and responsibilities develop.
This is a full-time, studio-based role. The practice is also open to an initial freelance arrangement with a view to moving into a permanent position.
About the candidate
- A strong all-rounder with experience across concept design, detailed design and delivery
- Adaptable and comfortable working across different sectors, with residential, workplace or hospitality experience
- Strong Revit proficiency is essential; skills will be assessed during the interview process
- Good SketchUp skills and confidence producing drawings, details and presentations
- A considered approach to materials and finishes, with FF&E experience welcomed
- Comfortable presenting to clients and coordinating with consultants and contractors
- Organised and able to manage project responsibilities and deadlines
- A collaborative, approachable team member who enjoys contributing to studio life
- Looking for a long-term move with scope to grow and take on greater responsibility

About the studio
This established London practice offers a varied mix of projects and a sociable working environment. Designers work closely together and are encouraged to contribute ideas and take responsibility as they develop.
