Interior Designer
About the position
This is a fantastic opportunity for a mid-weight designer to take ownership of key elements within high-end residential projects, both in the UK and internationally. Working closely with senior team members, you will support the overall design direction while contributing across all stages of a project. The role requires a detail-oriented and proactive individual, confident in developing design ideas, producing documentation, and maintaining a professional approach when working with clients, consultants, and suppliers.
About the candidate
We are looking for a well-rounded and collaborative designer with a strong design sensibility and solid technical grounding, ideally gained within high-end residential, hospitality, or development projects.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience within interior design and/or architecture
- Degree qualified in Interior Design, Interior Architecture or Architecture
- Strong AutoCAD skills, with the ability to produce detailed drawing packages to RIBA Stage 3 independently
- Experience working on high-end residential, hospitality or development projects
- Confident contributing to concept design, spatial planning and schematic development
- Good technical understanding, including joinery and architectural detailing
- Experience supporting projects through multiple RIBA stages, including tender documentation
- Comfortable liaising with clients, consultants, suppliers and wider project teams
- Familiarity with UK building regulations and industry standards
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign and Photoshop essential)
- Working knowledge of SketchUp, Rhino, Revit or other 3D software is advantageous
- Strong awareness of materials, finishes, FF&E and supplier coordination
- Highly organised, with the ability to manage deadlines across multiple projects
- Commercial awareness, with an understanding of working within project budgets
