about the position

In this role you will be reporting to an associate director and managing a small team of juniors on several high-end private home refurbishments concurrently at different stages, maintaining oversight on quality, programme and budget. Understanding and defining briefs, gaining successful often contentious planning and liaising with consultants and contractors on technical information, this is a true client facing and coordination role and you will ensure that deliverables are of a high standard of quality and compliance. You will be on site supervising works and solving issues, managing contractor relationships and doing the contract administration.

about the candidate

The successful candidate will be an ARB registered architect with a career defined by bespoke one off homes and an innate understanding of what it takes for deliver for private clients. Strong experience of significant refurbishments with extension and basements is highly advantageous, as is experience with listed buildings and the RBKC borough. They require someone well rounded with a key eye for contemporary intervention and rich materials complimented by strong stage 4+5 experience including writing specifications, on site and JCT contract administration.
