the details

Create beautifully detailed hospitality and residential interiors, bringing design flair, technical ability, and confidence across all stages of a project.

about the position

This position is for a Middleweight Interior Designer to join an award-winning interior design studio in London, known for its creative, considered approach to high-end hospitality and residential projects.

The role will suit a well-rounded designer with strong technical and FF&E skills who enjoys contributing to projects from concept through to completion. You will work closely with a collaborative team, developing design concepts, producing detailed documentation, and coordinating across all stages of delivery.

Key responsibilities include preparing mood and reference boards, developing 2D and 3D design studies, and producing comprehensive drawing packages from concept to construction. You will coordinate with consultants and suppliers, research materials and pricing, and assist in the management of construction administration, including reviewing submittals and RFIs.

about the candidate

The ideal candidate will bring 4–6 years of experience within high-end interior design, ideally across both hospitality and residential projects. You will have a strong understanding of FF&E, joinery, and bespoke detailing, and be confident producing full drawing sets and technical documentation.

Proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp is essential, along with excellent communication and organisational skills. Experience using Enscape for design visualisation would be highly advantageous. You should be confident liaising with consultants and suppliers, contributing ideas, and problem-solving throughout the design and construction process.

Experience within top-tier design studios will be highly valued, alongside an appreciation for craftsmanship, elegant detailing, and a thoughtful approach to materials and finishes.

Key skills and experience:

  • 4–6 years of professional experience in interior design
  • Experience across luxury hospitality and residential projects
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Experience using Enscape is an advantage
  • Strong FF&E knowledge, including sourcing and specification
  • Skilled in developing detailed construction and joinery drawings
  • Confident coordinating with consultants, contractors, and suppliers
  • Organised, proactive, and comfortable working in a collaborative team environment
