Client-side opportunity to join an established flexible workspace brand as their first in-house design hire, shaping the look and feel across new sites and existing locations.
This client-side opportunity sits within a growing, design-led flexible workspace brand, offering the chance to shape and maintain the look and feel across a portfolio of sites.
The role centres around FF&E and space planning, with responsibility for specifying furniture, fixtures and equipment across new locations, refreshes and ongoing upgrades, alongside briefing and managing an external space planning agency to ensure layouts are both efficient and enhance the overall user experience.
You will be involved in new site delivery, working alongside D&B contractors to review and challenge proposals, as well as leading smaller-scale upgrades across existing spaces.
This is a hands-on position suited to someone who enjoys being close to the detail, from material specification and sourcing through to resolving issues on site and seeing projects through to completion.
The successful candidate will have experience within workplace, flexible office or co-working environments, with a strong understanding of how these spaces function day to day.
- Proven experience specifying FF&E across workplace or commercial projects
- Experience working with or managing space planning, with an understanding of layout efficiency and user experience
- Background within a flex or co-working operator is highly desirable
- Hands-on approach, confident sourcing materials, selecting furniture and resolving issues on site
- Strong understanding of design delivery, from concept through to completion
- Commercially aware, able to balance aesthetics with budget, durability and performance
- Confident working with external partners including contractors, consultants and suppliers
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit or similar
- Organised, self-directed and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Clear communicator with a collaborative approach
