A growing global studio seeking an Associate Designer or emerging Head of Design to join their London team to lead a design-led workplace fit-out projecs.

about the position

A global design studio that has recently established its London office is seeking an experienced Senior or Associate-level designer, ready to take the next step in their career and progress quickly into a Head of Design position.

You will play a key role from day one, leading on concept-led, front-end design across CAT A+ and CAT B projects. A significant part of the role will focus on pitching, presenting and winning work, developing compelling design narratives and confidently communicating ideas to clients.

Alongside design leadership, you will be instrumental in building and nurturing client relationships, acting as a key point of contact and helping to drive repeat business through a strong, personable and commercially aware approach.

The focus will be on developing creative, considered and buildable design concepts that go beyond typical D&B schemes. While an understanding of technical design is important, this role is not centred on producing detailed delivery packages, but rather on shaping design direction and ensuring quality from concept through to implementation.

Working closely with senior leadership, you will contribute to the studio’s creative output and commercial growth, with a strong emphasis on networking, relationship-building and expanding the client base.

This is a highly visible position with a clear pathway to leadership, offering the opportunity to grow into a Head of Design role, build a team, and take on wider design oversight across the group over time.
