Junior Interior Designer
About the position
An established London-based design studio is seeking a Junior Interior Designer to join its growing team. Working across a portfolio of high-end residential projects in the UK and internationally, you will support the delivery of beautifully crafted interiors while gaining exposure to all stages of the design process. This studio seamlessly blends architecture, interior design and full scope FF+E into a cohesive vision, they are notable for working with heritage fabrics, bespoke interiors and attention to detail and craft.
About the candidate
This role would suit a motivated designer or Architectural Assistant with a passion for interiors, strong visual communication skills and a genuine interest in materials, detailing and contemporary design.
- 1+ years' experience within an interior design, architecture or related design practice within the UK.
- Strong interest in luxury residential interiors.
- Proficient in SketchUp, Photoshop and InDesign.
- Ability to communicate design ideas through presentations, visualisations and technical drawings.
- A strong eye for design, materials and detailing.
- Knowledge of Revit, or a willingness to develop BIM skills.
- Proactive, organised and eager to learn within a collaborative studio environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
