Architectural Design Manager
About the position
This is an exciting role for an experienced architect to step into a design manager role at a creative design and build company. You will bring together your knowledge of workplace interior and spatial design principals, technical detailing, coordination and construction, and regulatory standards including BCO, sustainability and BREEAM in a design and technical monitoring role across a variety of projects concurrently, With some major new projects online, these would primarily consist of landlord led workplace refurbishments, involving complex interventions and additions with new roof terraces, façade remediations and structural alterations including cut and carve.
About the candidate
· QualifiedArchitect with significant experience leading projects in a coordination role
· A demonstrable portfolio of workplace led refurbishment and interiors projects
· Expert knowledge of UK regulations, construction methods and use of materials to monitor technical design and detailing
· Understanding of relevant and up to date standards including BCO and sustainability.
· Commercial mindset who thrives in a fast paced environment
· Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to confidently communicate with a wide variety of people across and discipline
