Freelance Designers (Across Levels)
About the position
The initial three-month contract will focus on the concept stages of the project, with good potential to extend from there and potentially run for 6–12 months.
This is a highly creative role offering hands-on experience across design, specification and site. As the project develops, you will have the opportunity to work across different stages and produce design intent drawing packages.
About the candidate
The successful candidates will be strong all-round designers, comfortable working across different stages of a project. You will have a good design eye alongside the technical ability to develop concepts and produce clear design intent drawings.
Previous experience within a leading interior design or architecture studio is important, ideally working on high-end projects of a similar calibre.
- Junior, Middleweight and Senior levels considered
- Experience across high-end workplace, hospitality or commercial projects
- Strong concept and design development skills
- Confident producing design intent drawing packages
- Experience with specification and some site involvement
- Hardworking, pragmatic and detail-oriented
- AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite essential
- Rhino and Enscape preferred for 3D modelling; SketchUp also considered
- Must have your own computer/workstation and software licences
About the studio
You will be working for a boutique design studio, based within their client’s Central London office. The client is an established London developer, offering an impressive working environment and team lunches.
The role will be 4 days per week in the Central London office with 1 day working from home.
