Interior Design Project Manager
About the position
As an Interior Design Project Manager, you will play a hands-on role leading the delivery of exceptional luxury projects from concept through to completion. Working closely with clients, consultants, contractors and specialist makers, you will oversee every stage of the design and delivery process, from bespoke interior architecture and technical detailing through to procurement, contract administration and site coordination. This is an opportunity to combine a strong understanding of interior design with excellent project management, ensuring every project is delivered on programme, within budget and to the highest standard.
About the candidate
This role would suit someone with an interior design background who has transitioned into project management and enjoys leading the successful delivery of exceptional proejcts within the luxury sector.
- Previous experience within luxury residential or hospitality interior design.
- A proven track record managing projects from concept through to completion.
- Strong understanding of bespoke interior architecture, technical detailing and the construction process.
- Confident producing and reviewing detailed AutoCAD drawing packages.
- Experience leading contract administration, procurement and on-site coordination.
- Excellent knowledge of high-end materials, finishes, bespoke joinery and FF&E.
- Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and build lasting relationships with clients, consultants and contractors.
- A proactive, detail-oriented approach with the confidence to take ownership of projects and represent the studio throughout the design and delivery process.
