Head of FF&E
About the position
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced FF&E Designer to take that next step in the career. As Head of FF&E, you will shape the direction of the department, overseeing a talented team while remaining closely involved in the delivery of some of London's most prestigious private residences. Working within a fully integrated property business, you will influence projects from the earliest stages, collaborating with Interior Architecture, Construction and Development teams to ensure every home is delivered to an exceptional standard. Alongside leading the department, you will continue to direct your own portfolio of projects, balancing creative leadership with hands-on involvement throughout the design process.
About the candidate
The ideal candidate is an experienced FF&E leader who enjoys combining creativity with team management, bringing the confidence to oversee multiple projects while mentoring designers and maintaining the highest standards across every scheme.
- Extensive experience delivering super-prime residential FF&E projects from concept through to installation.
- Previous experience leading, mentoring and developing an FF&E team.
- Strong eye for furniture, decorative lighting, antiques, artwork, textiles and bespoke furnishings.
- Confident managing multiple projects, balancing creative direction with day-to-day delivery.
- Excellent knowledge of bespoke furniture design, supplier management and manufacturing processes.
- Comfortable presenting to UHNW clients and building long-term relationships.
- Experience overseeing procurement, budgets and installation programmes.
- Collaborative approach, working closely with Interior Architecture, Construction and Project Management teams.
- Commercial awareness with the ability to prioritise workload, resources and project deadlines.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Adobe CS and EstiPC.
