Interior Designer
About the position
A Middleweight Interior Designer is sought to join a boutique London studio specialising in high-end residential interiors. Working closely with the Director and wider team, the successful designer will contribute across all project stages, from initial concept and design development through to technical detailing and delivery.
This is a broad, hands-on position requiring a confident all-rounder who can balance strong technical ability with creative flair. The role will involve developing interior architectural details, producing drawing packages and contributing to the selection of fabrics, finishes and materials.
About the candidate
- 5 to 7 years of professional interior design experience, ideally within high-end residential projects
- A confident all-rounder with experience across the full interior design process
- Technically competent, with a strong understanding of interior architectural detailing and documentation
- Creative flair and a refined eye for fabrics, finishes, materials and colour
- Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp and Photoshop
- A genuine interest in the history of design, interiors and architecture
- Proactive, resourceful and willing to take a hands-on approach
- Comfortable working collaboratively as part of a small, close-knit team
- Polished, professional and confident when communicating with clients, suppliers and consultants
- Available to start immediately
