Associate Architect
About the position
Broadly promoting from within, this is a unique opportunity to step into senior management at a firm who are recently coming into their own. You will be overseeing project architects and designers, liaising with key clients and external consultants, primarily on design stages but with the opportunity to follow projects through. Their portfolio spans central London workplace retrofit schemes that straddle hospitality, involving faced retention and intricate insertions, and housing across PBSA, co-living and urban regeneration. As well as being hands on in projects, you will also play an active role in mentoring, offering guidance and support to juniors, as well as wider practice management, networking and new business.
About the candidate
- Qualified architect operating in a practice leadership role
- Experience leading teams on projects of varying complexities con-currently, focusing on RIBA Stages 1-4, but with continued experience at technical delivery
- A portfolio of high-end workplace refurbishments essential with multi unit housing advantageous
- Effective and energetic communicator with excellent experience managing clients, fostering relationships and business development
- Creative and pragmatic with a keen desire to drive strategic direction and inspire teams
- AutoCAD and/or Revit
